Pardon my ignorance, but ...

A sampling of some of the reactions to President Bush's VFW speech today includes the following:

"Invoking the tragedy of Vietnam to defend the failed policy in Iraq is as irresponsible as it is ignorant of the realities of both of those wars," Senator Kerry said.


With all due respect to this United States Senator, which is much more than he seems willing to extend to the President and Commander in Chief of the United States, his remark has the odor of halitosis emanating from a mouth full of sour grapes chewed by someone greatly invested in the concept of losing.
